- 2 medium to large yellow onions (or around 1 lb)

- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
Instructions
- Peel and Slice: Peel the onions and cut them into thin round slices.
- Drizzle Oil: Drizzle oil over the slices and gently separate the rings.
- Air Fry: Place the onion rings in the air fryer basket. Fry initially at 300F for 10 minutes, gently mixing the rings at 5-minute intervals.
- Lower Temperature: Lower the temperature to 240F and continue frying. Mix the rings every 5 minutes. It will take 15-18 minutes @240F for the desired color and texture.
Notes
- You can use red onions as well, but they may result in a darker color of the fried onion.
- Cooking times may vary based on the quantity of onions in the air fryer. Adjust the frying time if needed.
