Description

This Air Fryer Halloumi recipe results in perfectly crispy and golden brown halloumi cheese slices that can be enjoyed hot, at room temperature, or cold. It’s a versatile dish that can be served as is, with pita bread, alongside eggs, or as a salad topping.

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 block halloumi cheese, cut into 8 slices (8 oz, 225 grams)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 390F (200 C).
  2. Prepare the halloumi: Lightly brush halloumi slices on both sides with olive oil. Place in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not touch.
  3. Cook the halloumi: Air fry at 390 F (200C) for 7-8 minutes until the slices are golden brown and crispy.
  4. Serve: Enjoy the halloumi hot, at room temperature, or cold.

Notes

  • Air Fryer Halloumi pairs well with pita bread, eggs, and salads.
  • For a delicious combination, try it with a Strawberry Salad.
  • Leftover halloumi slices can be refrigerated for 1-2 days. While they may lose some crunch, they still taste great cold.
