Ingredients
Crust:
- 1 cup All-Purpose Unbleached Flour
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 cup Butter
- 1/4 tsp Salt
Cheesecake Filling:
- 16 oz Cream Cheese
- 3/4 cup Cane Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Apples:
- 2 Apples
- 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- 2 tbsp Cane Sugar
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
Streusel Topping:
- 1/2 cup All-Purpose Unbleached Flour
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven.
- Make the crust.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling.
- Prepare the apple mixture.
- Create the streusel topping.
- Bake.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
In a bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and salt. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter until the mixture is crumbly. Press into a baking pan and bake until lightly browned.
In a stand mixer, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla. Pour over the warm crust.
Combine apples, spices, sugar, and lemon juice. Spread over the cream cheese filling.
Mix flour and brown sugar, then cut in butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apples.
Bake until the center is set. Serve with caramel sauce and a pinch of salt.
