- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, stems removed and halved
- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Prepare Brussels Sprouts: Slice Brussels sprouts in half and spread them out on a large baking sheet.
- Season & Roast: Drizzle with avocado oil, season with salt and pepper, and toss to coat. Arrange cut side down. Roast for 18-20 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Make the Glaze: While the Brussels sprouts roast, heat a small saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil, honey, balsamic vinegar, and grated garlic.
- Simmer the Sauce: Stir and let it simmer over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
- Toss & Serve: Remove Brussels sprouts from the oven and toss them with the balsamic glaze. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For extra crispiness, broil the Brussels sprouts for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Add toasted pecans, walnuts, or crispy bacon for extra texture.
- Use maple syrup instead of honey for a vegan option.
