Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 8 oz tube crescent roll dough, separated along perforated edges into triangles
- 24 little smokies
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 3 tbsp everything bagel seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F to ensure it is hot and ready for baking the pigs in a blanket evenly.
- Prepare Dough: Roll out the crescent roll dough along the perforated edges and tear into triangles. Then, cut each triangle into 3 smaller triangles to create the perfect size wrappers for the smokies.
- Roll Smokies: Take each little smokie and roll it tightly inside one of the smaller dough triangles, pinching the edges to seal it completely and prevent the dough from unwrapping during baking.
- Arrange on Pan: Place the wrapped smokies seam side down on a baking pan to keep them securely closed while baking.
- Add Toppings: Brush the tops of the dough-wrapped smokies with melted butter, then sprinkle generously with everything bagel seasoning to add flavor and a nice texture.
- Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the crescent dough is golden brown and fully cooked.
- Serve: Remove from the oven and serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces for a tasty snack or appetizer.
Notes
- Warm leftovers in a 350ºF oven or microwave to maintain freshness.
